We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our London office on a part-time basis (minimum 20 hours per week, office-based).
This is a broad, hands-on HR generalist role in a high-performance investment banking environment, acting as the primary HR contact for the London team. You will work closely with senior leadership and partners, as well as the German HR team, to deliver a full spectrum of HR services while also contributing to strategic people initiatives.

- Act as the primary HR advisor for the London office, providing trusted guidance to managers and employees
- Work closely with partners and senior management on day-to-day and strategic HR matters
- Drive and support initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and leadership effectiveness
- Support the development of a high-performance culture
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, CV screening, interview coordination, and offer management
- Coordinate with external search firms and manage relationships effectively
- Lead campus recruitment activities and maintain relationships with key universities and talent pipelines
- Oversee structured onboarding process to ensure a strong employee experience from day one
Performance & Talent Management
- Coordinate performance review processes in collaboration with senior management
- Prepare reporting materials
- Support promotion readiness discussions and talent calibration processes
Employee Relations
- Provide day-to-day HR support on employee relations matters
- Support probation reviews and advise on performance management cases
- Work with external legal advisors on complex employment matters
Immigration & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end visa and sponsorship processes
- Liaise with external legal advisors on complex cases
- Ensure compliance with Home Office reporting obligations
HR Operations & Systems
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure integrity of HR data and systems
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and related documentation
- Manage the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and the employee handbook in line with UK employment law

We are looking for a confident and pragmatic HR professional with strong experience operating in fast-paced, high-performance environments such as investment banking, private equity, consulting, or professional services.
- Proven experience in an HR generalist role
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage effectively with senior leaders and partners
- End-to-end HR lifecycle experience across recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and working directly with senior stakeholders and partners
- An analytically minded, solutions-focused approach
- High attention to detail and strong execution capability
- Excellent teamwork skills
- A clear communication style
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
